Marjoram Honey
Real Food Starts Somewhere.
The harvest date is printed on the authenticity card that comes with it.
Marjoram honey has a gentle herbal character — the flavour of the blossom itself, in honey.
Origin
From the blossom of the marjoram plant itself. The bees forage on its flowers in season, giving the honey its distinctive herbal character.
Colour & Taste
A warm amber colour with a thick texture and a gentle herbal flavour, followed by a warm note reminiscent of dried marjoram.
Its Place
Marjoram is a familiar herb in Egyptian homes and has traditionally been associated with digestion, particularly mild digestive discomfort, bloating and gas. This honey carries the character of the plant itself in its flavour — gentle, herbal and distinctive.
The Nature of Honey
Natural honey can crystallise over time, and it may happen faster in colder conditions depending on the variety and its composition. Crystallisation is not a fault and does not mean the honey has gone bad. To return it to a liquid state, place the jar in warm — not hot — water until it loosens again.
